Dr. Gray routinely performs same-day surgery and examinations and even with IV sedation if needed. That said sometimes your doctor must be spoken with prior to your procedure in order to treat you safely and this can prevent a same-day surgery from happening. Likewise if you are contemplating sedation it is important that you have nothing to eat or drink 8 hrs before your scheduled appointment.  

If you have pain or discomfort every effort will be made to see you that day.
